I use Totals Pro since december 2009, and wanted to upgrade. I´ve purchased a license via paypal today.

My Problem:
I cannot import or open my Totals Pro database file. It is stored under ~/Library/Application Support/Totals/Data/mydbfile.totalsdb. Totals 2.1.0 starts but there is no data from my previous database file.

How do I export the Totals 1.1.2 data to use it in Totals 2.1.0?

I use a MBP 17" Retina, MacOSX 10.8.2 latest updates.

I can open my Database by doubleclicking with Totals 2, but nothing shown!

I am using the trial version of Totals as I need a new invoicing program to replace Quicksales for ipad.(which I love) however they do not have a mac app at this time and I am getting to busy to keep working on an ipad.

My question is I like editing my items in CSV formate in excel as I bring in pricing from another spreadsheet which calculates price changes. However ever once I am done editing the prices and import them back in they do not edit the current items with the same names and categories (as prices are all that have changed.) Totals creates all new items but doesn't duplicate the category folders.

As I have quite a few items and the prices change monthly it is more efficient to edit items bulk in excel then manually in Totals. All fields are filled (empty fields are " " to add at least a space in case null isn't accepted).

Any ideas?
