Learn how to synchronize starting with Totals version 2.2
Please post in English only. Thank you!
Document Date
  • The "document date" always shows the short form of the date, e.g.: 23.04.12
But we need the middle form with complete year: 23.04.2012

Do I not find the functionality to change the format or is it a missing feature?
If it's not included please make it possible to choose the date format (short, middle and long).
  • Hi,

you can do it in the system preferences http://support.kedisoft.com/kb/configuring-totals/changing-the-date-format

    Kind regards,
    Ferhat
  • Hi Ferhat,
that's what I mean. The configuring tool of MAC OS defines four date formats:
    short, middle, long and full
The short form used in Germany is: 23.04.12
    And the middle form: 23.04.2012

Totals uses automatically the defined "short" form of the date. When I change the short form to 23.04.2012 it will be equal to the middle form and I won't be able to use the real short date in any other app. Therefore I would prefer if I could choose the prefered form in Totals.
  • Just filed a feature request. Thank you. Will be done in one of the next updates.
  • Nice, thank you Ferhat.
