Excuse my bad english. I have installed today last TOTALS update, anc all my documents seems LOST. I got more backup, but TOTALS don't restore it... Any ideas?
It is a behavior due to sandboxing (http://www.kedisoft.com/blog/2012/06/totals-2-1-mac-app-store-comes-in-a-sandbox/). You data is not lost. You just need to re-select your files in order to use it with Totals. The default folder for your databases is /Users/[you]/Library/Application Support/Totals/Data. Please check this folder and double click a file to open it in Totals.
I have recently moved to a new Mac. Before the move, I upgraded TOTALS to the newest version, did a database backup. I then copied the file to the new Mac in the documents directory and tried to restore. Nothing happens. I am missing a step somewhere. Can you please post directions on how to restore, change any necessary permissions, etc.? I need to have this restored ASAP.
