I am not able to find a way to track total number of items supplied by a supplier. Though there is an option to add to stock value with a field of supplier name but i am not able to keep track of total number of items by a given supplier till date.
I have tried it with creating Purchase Order too but the items in Purchase Order are not added to inventory automatically.
thank you for your questions. Purchase Orders are usual document types without any specific functionalities. More about document types: http://support.kedisoft.com/kb/totals-essential-basics/about-document-types However, we will add in future a button (or something similar) to accept the listed items in a purchase order to the stock. We will also add some more report options to group items by suppliers. Purchase Orders + Suppliers are pretty new in Totals. Actually it was introduced in Totals 2. But you can expect more functionalities in the next updates.
post1: Actually it was intended to avoid this menu option. I would not classify it as a bug. post2: Totals keeps track of all your items and suppliers. The connection between them is just not visual yet.
Hi, this is not planned for the next updates. So I really can not say exactly 'when' this will be included. Sorry that I can not give you a concrete answer at this point.
