Problems with start, new database and layots

Hi.
I have try the Demo of Totals and i think that Totals is the program what i really need... but unfortunately Totals have too many bugs...
1) When I am opening the program first time and give my details on the "Database Setup Assistant" after finished the app goes waiting all the time and stopped there.

2) After first install of Totals in a first program window was no Documents in left side (Rechnung, Angebot, Lieferschein...).

3) After another one start i have trying to create a new Layout, but after click in "Layouts" button Totals need 40-50 sec to open Layouts window...
I really want to buy your program but you must fix this bugs first...
P.S. I have try Totals on 2 Macs with the same results:
1. iMac 3.06 GHz, Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB, MacOS X 10.6.8
2. MacBook Air 11', 1.4 GHz, Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB, MacOS X 10.6.8 -
Hi Tony,
all the reported issues are related to the creation of your database. Probably you don't have writing rights to the folder where Totals is trying to create a database.
Please change the root database directory by using the database bottom right pop-up menu in the database manager.
Totals is writing error messages to the console.app, which definitely is in your case. If it says something like "could not migrate..." and you didn't use Totals version1 before than Totals can not create folders and files in the root database folder.
