I am having issues with the icons for the MacLegion Spring Bundle 2011 http://maclegion.com/. When I purchased this bundle it gave me the option to Export the information about that purchase to AppShelf. I did so, and imported this purchase of 13 programs into Appshelf. The problem I am having is that if the change the icon on one of the programs in App Shelf, it changes the icon for the other 12 programs to the icon I just changed. For example, I changed the icon for Data Rescue to the correct icon, and the icons for Screen Flow, Contactizer Pro, Virus Barrier, etc. were changed on restart of the program to the icon for Data Rescue. I am trying to avoid having to delete all 13 of these programs and manually re-enter them to see if that solves the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated, and I realize that the problem could have been caused by MacLegion.

I guess AppShelf updated a while ago when I hadn't noticed and I also migrated to a new MacBook Pro, so library/application support links might have changed, but the relatively new interface does not automatically show all of the applications, so when I look in the "Applications" folder and select an app that I have had in AppShelf for awhile, it gets imported back (I guess) from a db and placed in the "Default" folder (not sure why that is even necessary), but without any of the ID#'s and serial numbers. I've looked at some of the other discussions and I assume there is a link missing, but I really don't want to individually try to import every app serial and it is missing data anyway. Obviously others have dealt with this an moved on, but I guess I just didn't get the memo.

Thanks for any help!

I often put extra info in Comments, and I want to find it later, but it seems Cmd-F only searches the "Name" field. If this is not possible, could it be logged to become a future feature? Thanks.
Two unrelated issues to report.
1. I upgraded an app from v.3 to v.5. I added the new version in Appshelf which correctly cleared the form allowing me to enter in the new details about price, where I bought it, and serial number. However the version number that shows in the left column list of apps still shows v.3. Nothing I can do seems to allow me changing that. It defaults to the original version. When I come back later to view what version I have a license for, at first glance I would see v3 and think I don't have a newer license. I have to click into it to see v5 details. This is not good and defeats the point of the app helping you spot what version you have licenses for when it comes to deciding if you need to upgrade an app or not.

2. When I first open Appshelf and are faced with the login screen, why can't you put the focus inside the field to type into? I always have to click into it first before I can type. I can't tell you how many times I open the app and start typing the password only to find that nothing is being typed into the password field. Please auto focus on the only field visible... the password field so I can type without first doing a click.

Is is possible to to change the icons for entires in AppShelf? When you add an entry by selecting "add an existing application" it picks up the app's icon. But if you add it manually (or by importing) it just uses a generic icon. The MacUpdate Promo site, for instance, lets you download all of your serial numbers in AppShelf importable format, so I'd like to be able to import the entires that way and then change each entry's icon to the app's actual icon.

Thanks.

When I click import only the first one is imported. Here is the structure of what I am trying to import:

"Name","License","Price","E-mail","Comment","Registered to","Where Purchased","Date Purchased"

All fields are filled (empty fields are " " to add at least a space in case null isn't accepted).

Any ideas?

Michael
